Wailea’s Old Blue offers up a golf experience that is truly classic. As the first course ever built in Wailea, the Old Blue laid claim to the lay of the land that would put Wailea on everyone’s wish list of places to visit.
The course winds its way on a tour of the resort while serving up views of the neighboring islands on one side and 10,023-foot dormant volcano, Mt. Haleakala on the other. Players of all levels will come away from a round on the Old Blue wanting to accept an invitation to play again. Now, after all these years, the Old Blue continues to welcome back many golfers who feel that a trip to Maui is not complete without a round or two on the Old Blue.
With views of the Pacific Ocean, several offshore islands, a volcanic cinder cone known as Pu'u Olai and majestic Mount Haleakala. It features several fountains and lakes, and an abundance of colorful hibiscus, wiliwili trees, bougainvillea and plumeria, lush wider fairways and large greens, with superb course conditions and resort level service help create unforgettable lasting impressions. The Wailea Old Blue really is classic golf in paradise.
